Barton Gold
Barton Gold (ASX:BGD) is an Australian gold developer with ~1.6Moz Au JORC Mineral Resources and 100% ownership of the only regional gold mill, targeting 150,000oz Au annual production in the central Gawler Craton of South Australia. A recently published initial scoping study outlines a plan for Tunkillia to produce ~130,000ozpa at a competitive AISC of A$1,917 / oz Au (~USD $1,250 / oz).
Barton is now completing further drilling and updated studies for Tunkillia, and in parallel is now reviewing opportunities to utilise its fully permitted Central Gawler Mill to commence initial ‘Stage 1’ operations starting from ~2026. This would process existing near-mill mineralisation, generate free cash flow, and fund the development of Tunkillia following the completion of its studies, engineering and approvals processes.
