Emily Liu, CFA, is Head of Research at Hybridan, a UK based small-cap focused corporate finance firm and corporate broker. After obtaining an MBA degree from University of Oxford, she worked as a corporate finance analyst with UHY Hacker Young and then as an equity analyst with Arete Research in London. She is keen to help growth companies by leveraging her experience in cleantech and deep tech across all sectors. She published a sector note in 2023, “Critical minerals for UK: mining and battery recycling” focusing on lithium.
Paul Atherley
Chairman
Paul Atherley is a highly experienced senior resources executive with wide ranging international and capital markets experience. He graduated as mining engineer from Imperial College London and has held a number of senior executive and board positions.
He is based in London and has broad experience in raising debt and equity finance for resource companies. He served as Executive Director of the investment banking arm of HSBC Australia where he undertook a range of advisory roles in the resources sector. He has completed a number of acquisitions and financings of resources projects in Europe, China, Australia and Asia.
He is currently Chairman of LSE listed Pensana Plc which is establishing the world’s first independent and sustainable rare earth processing hub at the Saltend Chemicals Park in the Humber Freeport UK and Non Executive Chairman of LSE listed Alkemy Capital Inverstments Plc which is establishing the Tees Valley Lithium Hydroxide refinery in the Teesside Freeport, UK.
He is a strong supporter of Women in STEM and has established a scholarship which provides funding for young women to further their education in science and engineering.
Stefan Bernstein

GreenRoc’s CEO, Stefan Bernstein, is a Danish geologist with over 25 years’ experience in Greenland’s mining sector and unparalleled knowledge and understanding of the country and its mineral wealth. He has extensive experience spanning both corporate and governmental advisory roles, including as Head of the Mineral Resources Department at the Danish and Greenlandic Geological Survey, which is responsible for supporting the sustainable exploitation of raw materials in Greenland.
GreenRoc Mining plc is a mining company specializing in minerals critical to the energy transition. GreenRoc’s primary focus is on its solely owned world-class graphite deposit at Amitsoq, South Greenland which it aims to bring into production in early 2027.
Ian Foley

Equipmake is led by Ian Foley, a highly-experienced engineer who has worked in global motorsport at the highest level – from Le Mans to F1. Alongside his top-level motorsport role, Ian developed his own paddle shift gearbox in 1997 for endurance racing. Further developing this role, Ian supplied engineering and EV consultancy services to many industry sectors. In the early 2000s, Equipmake was born and focused on researching electric motors and flywheels which were later engineered and developed for hybrid buses – Equipmake’s foundation business.
Equipmake is a UK-based engineering specialist with over 20 years’ experience developing and producing industry-leading electrification products. At the forefront of the transition from fossil-fuelled to zero-emission powertrains, Equipmake has emerged as a leader in the production of complete electric vehicle (EV) drivetrains for high-performance and heavy commercial vehicles.
Adam Davidson
Chief Executive Officer
Adam Davidson has over 10 years of experience in the natural resources sector, most recently with Resource Capital Funds, a leading mining-focused private equity firm. He has extensive mining capital markets experience across a breadth of jurisdictions and commodities. Prior to RCF, Adam held positions with BMO Capital Markets in Metals & Mining Equity Research and with Orica Mining Services in Strategic Planning. Adam is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and previously served as a Non-Executive Director of private gold producer RG Gold.
Trident Royalties is a fast-growing diversified mining royalty company listed on the AIM and the US OTCQB markets. Trident provides investors with exposure to the full breadth of the mining sector (excluding thermal coal). Fawzi Hanano

Fawzi Hanano is a finance professional with over 20 years of experience in the mining industry and at global investment banks. Before joining Cornish Metals as Chief Development Officer, he was Head of Investor Relations and Communications at SolGold plc, an LSE and TSX-listed copper and gold developer. Fawzi’s experience also includes a dozen years in mining equity research, where he covered global large and small cap miners and underlying commodities at a number of investment banks, including Goldman Sachs, UBS, HSBC, Macquarie and Berenberg. Fawzi started his mining sector career at Rio Tinto where he held roles in business development and strategy within the industrial minerals division.
