Peter joined NextEnergy Capital in January 2021, focusing on strategy and investor relations for NextEnergy Solar fund (Ticker: NESF), the Group’s listed vehicle. NextEnergy Solar fund is a specialist solar+ fund listed on the premium segment of the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 250. NESF’s investment objective is to provide ordinary shareholders with attractive risk-adjusted returns, principally in the form of regular dividends, by investing in a diversified portfolio of utility-scale solar energy and energy storage infrastructure assets. The majority of NESF’s long-term cash flows are inflation-linked via UK government subsidies. Peter’s background prior to joining NextEnergy Capital was in consultancy, having worked at strategic advisor Maitland/AMO for four years, where he advised listed companies, funds, and debt vehicles on strategy and investor relations. Prior to this, Peter worked at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management for six years.
